The City of McCallsburg is accepting sealed bids for snow removal services for the upcoming winter season. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing timely and dependable snow removal services within the City of McCallsburg as directed by the City. Services may include, but are not limited to: Plowing city streets and intersections Plowing alleys and other designated city-owned areas, as requested Clearing snow around City Hall, the Fire Station, and other mun

McCallsburg residents will soon have a new way to reduce waste and recycle common household items. Pratt Sanitation will begin offering recycling services starting July 1, with the first pickup scheduled for Thursday, July 9. Residents can recycle clean paper and cardboard, plastic bottles marked #1, #2, or #5, metal cans, and glass jars without lids. All items should be rinsed and clean before going into the bin. Please keep items such as batteries, plastic bags, electronics

The City dump now has a padlock. If you need to drop anything off, please call City Hall at 515-434-2242 to check out a key. If you’ll be dumping over a weekend, please plan ahead and contact City Hall on Friday to get the key before they close. When you’re finished, you MUST return the key in the drop box located at City Hall.
