Pratt Sanitation is proud to offer recycling service in McCallsburg beginning July 1.
 

The first recycling pickup will be on Wednesday, July 9.

This new service gives residents an easy way to recycle common household items and help reduce waste going into the landfill.

What Can Go in the Recycling Bin?

Please make sure all items are rinsed and clean before placing them in the bin.
 

You may recycle:

• Paper and cardboard

• Plastic bottles marked #1, #2, or #5

• Metal cans

• Glass jars without lids

Keep These Items Out

To help keep the recycling process clean and safe, please do not place these items in your recycling bin:

• Batteries

• Ceramic items

• Clothing

• Diapers

• Electronics

• Food-tainted items

• Hazardous waste

• Household glass

• Medical waste

• Plastic bags

• Plastic clamshell containers

• Scrap metal

• Shredded paper

• Squeeze pouches

• Packing materials

• Cords and wires

• Tires

• Toys
