REQUEST FOR SNOW REMOVAL BIDS

The City of McCallsburg is accepting sealed bids for snow removal services for the upcoming winter season.

The successful bidder will be responsible for providing timely and dependable snow removal services within the City of McCallsburg as directed by the City. Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Plowing city streets and intersections

• Plowing alleys and other designated city-owned areas, as requested

• Clearing snow around City Hall, the Fire Station, and other municipal property, IF requested

• Applying salt, sand, or other approved ice-control materials IF requested

• Providing appropriate snow removal equipment and qualified operators

• Responding to snow and ice events in a timely manner, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary

Bidders should provide the following information with their bid:

• Proposed hourly rate and/or rate per snow event

• Rates for each type of equipment to be used

• Description of available snow removal equipment

• Rate for salt, sand, or other ice-control materials, if applicable

• Proof of appropriate liability insurance

• Name, address, telephone number, and email address of bidder

BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 21, 2026 AT 5:00 PM.

The City Council will review bids at its meeting on November 4^th.

The City of McCallsburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The lowest bid will not necessarily be selected.
