City laws and resolutions

The City Code contains McCallsburg's adopted laws and regulations covering city government, public safety, property, utilities and other municipal matters.
The City works to keep the online Code of Ordinances current. There may occasionally be a delay between the adoption of an ordinance and its inclusion in the online code.
ATV, UTV & Golf Cart Information
The City of McCallsburg no longer requires local registration of ATVs, UTVs, or golf carts.
ATVs and UTVs that are required to be registered under Iowa law are registered through the county recorder. Story County handles registration and titling of ATVs and other off-road vehicles.
Golf carts do not require City registration. However, golf cart operation on city streets is subject to applicable state and local requirements.
