Saturday, April 18, 2025, 8 AM—10 AM or until the dumpsters are full. The drop-off area will be by the city shed in McCallsburg. Items not accepted: Construction debris No yard waste No paint cans No propane tanks No Tires No enclosed trailers No car batteries Special note: Someone will be on site to take appliances for $10 cash each (Not through the city). Call City Hall at 515-434-2242 for curbside assistance.
The City dump now has a padlock. If you need to drop anything off, please call City Hall at 515-434-2242 to check out a key. If you’ll be dumping over a weekend, please plan ahead and contact City Hall on Friday to get the key before they close. When you’re finished, you MUST return the key in the drop box located at City Hall.
